· We met with Dr. Hammill who told us that the ultrasound images and prototype both looked great for the project so far. We discussed our future plans of improving the blood vessels and tumors placed within the liver, and how we planned to update the model with patient CT scans to improve accuracy. Dr. Hammill also proposed that we try making an electrical circuit to indicate when blood vessels or tumor was reached by a surgeon, and we adopted this as a new plan instead of placing dye within the structures. We wrapped up the week by planning our verification and validation report and updating design specifications to convey the new methods proposed by Dr. Hammill.
